Bayswater
Bayswater is a real tourists haven. It displays all of the evidence of being a one time fashionable area of London (with beautiful stuccoed buildings) but has been overtaken by the more notorious areas such as Notting Hill of late. That said, this works to the tourists advantage as it means lower prices and an ethnic mix that results in a wide selection of cheap ethnic restaurants. All this and you can still throw a stone into Hyde Park’s Serpentine (well, very nearly anyway).
Belgravia
We are located between the districts of Belgravia and Pimlico (Nearest to South Belgravia).South Belgravia is the early Victorian creation of Thomas Cubitt and his sub-contractor. The master-builder constructed Eccleston and Warwick Square, the two great avenues; St. George's Drive and Belgrave Road, and the streets linking them.
Bloomsbury
Despite its central location (bordered by Oxford Street, Euston Road, Woburn Place and Great Portland Street), Bloomsbury is the elegant home of garden squares and stunning Georgian houses. City
The centre of UK and European commerce, the City area provides a fine mix of traditional and modern business architecture. 130 years ago Hammersmith & Fulham was a largely rural area. There is evidence of Roman and Saxon occupation of some riverside areas and the manor of Fulham, which included Hammersmith, was referred to in the Doomsday Book.
High Street Kensington
High Street Kensington offers perfect access to Holland Park and for those who love music and the arts, the underground station is only a short walk from the Royal Albert Hall.
Holland Park

Mayfair
Mayfair is renowned for being the playground of the rich but as well providing a great base for exclusive shopping (Bond Street), bars (The Met Bar) and restaurants (The Criterion), it is also a tremendous area for down to earth pubs and eateries. On top of these 3 staples of shopping, eating and drinking, you can enjoy cultural pursuits at the Faraday Museum or the Handle House Museum.
Notting Hill
Made famous by the British comedy film of the same name, Notting Hill actually offers plenty more than cinema goers would appreciate. Splendid bars and restaurants, the exciting and culturally rich carnival every August and the weekend market at Portobello Road, all add to the charm of this one time poor relation within the Kensington and Chelsea Borough. Notting Hill has come a long way since it was known as the potteries in the 19th century (because of a pottery works nearby) or the piggeries (due to the 3-1 ratio of pigs to people).
Oxford Street
Oxford Street is the long shopping paradise that runs from Holborn to Bayswater. Oxford Street itself is a must visit for the eager shopper, but visitors can also enjoy Soho for its great nightlife and market, and Bond Street for its exclusive style and elegance.
